Important advances in technology allow students to also be producers of web content, while enjoying the valuable social aspects of communicating, connecting, and making meaning out of the vast information available online.
21st Century Skills
Learning and innovation skills are increasingly being recognized as those that separate students who are prepared for a more and more complex life and work environments in the 21st century, and those who are not. A focus on creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration is essential to prepare students for the future.
The course provides a comprehensive and interactive training for career readiness skills. These skills are proven to meet the needs of today’s graduates by ACT– a leader in career and technical education. All seniors will work towards earning the National Career Readiness Certificate proving they have the skills needed to be successful after graduation!
Students will produce a variety of products which will be individualized as they explore their personal strengths, skills, interests and values—for a life AFTER high school. Every student will be prepared to pursue their passions, as well as the other possible options available after graduation, including college, employment and more!
